American Soldiers Evaluation Services (ASES) plays a vital role in ensuring that your compensation and pension (C&P) medical disability exams are conducted promptly, allowing the claims process to proceed smoothly and efficiently.
At ASES, our providers conduct comprehensive C&P exams, similar to those performed by U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) providers. Our providers are rigorously trained and certified under strict guidelines, dedicated to delivering compassionate, attentive care that consistently exceeds expectations.
These exams are designed to thoroughly evaluate your medical condition related to the claim you submitted to the VA. We take pride in reviewing exam reports for completeness and ensuring prompt submission to the VA, supporting the determination of your disability rating. ASES providers focus solely on the evaluation process; they do not provide treatment or have access to information on the VA’s final rating decisions. We are committed to offering high-quality services and a caring approach in support of our veterans throughout this process.
Once your C&P exam is scheduled, you’ll receive a call or email from our team to arrange a convenient date and time for your exam and work around your schedule.
When you arrive at our clinic, our staff will greet you with a warm welcome. You’ll be guided through a quick check-in process, where we’ll confirm your information to ensure everything is up to date.
During the exam, a provider will evaluate your medical condition as part of the claims process. The provider will listen carefully to your concerns, review any medical history, and complete a thorough evaluation based on VA guidelines.
After your exam, we’ll carefully review the report for completeness and accuracy. Our team will promptly submit the report to the VA to assist in determining your disability rating.
Get paid for every exam and watch your benefits grow. Please note that it may take several weeks or even months for the VA to process your claim and provide a response.
If you have any questions or need assistance, our office is always here to help and we’re happy to address any concerns you may have. Feel free to reach out to us at any time.
Please contact us at 225-673-1088, if you cannot find an answer to your question.
No. We are contracted with VA, who provides reimbursements for this service, free of charge to Veterans. The exam is designed to assess your medical condition specifically for your compensation and pension claim with Veterans Affairs. Please note that our providers are focused solely on the evaluation process and will not be administering any treatment. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or require immediate medical assistance, please immediately contact a VA hospital or private healthcare provider.
Your compensation and pension (C&P) exam is scheduled through ASES to expedite the process and offer greater convenience. ASES partners directly with the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) to conduct exams that meet VA standards, ensuring you receive the same level of care as you would in a VA facility. Our providers are trained and certified under strict VA guidelines to gather the essential information needed for the VBA to process your claim accurately and efficiently.
If you wish to bring any additional documents to your exam, please feel free to do so. These documents can provide helpful context and support the evaluation process. However, the VA supplies us with all relevant records included in your claim file. If you have any additional records that you haven’t yet submitted to the VA, please send them to the VA promptly so they can be included with your file. This ensures we have the ?most complete information for your evaluation.
We strive to schedule your appointments as soon as possible, at the earliest available time with a provider. If your appointments are not scheduled for the same day, it simply means that the providers and facilities nearest to you were not available on the same date. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in this matter.
To help us better serve other veterans and providers, please inform ASES as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your scheduled evaluation.
You're welcome to bring family members, significant others, or caregivers to your exam for support. Please note that some facilities may have limited waiting room space, and exams can take anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours, depending on the conditions being evaluated. We appreciate your understanding and are here to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
Once your exam is complete, our provider submits the report to the VA for review. We ensure all necessary information is included, and if any additional appointments are needed, we’ll let you know.
If no further exams or details are required, ASES will send the provider’s report to the VA to help determine your rating. You also have the option to see a Readjustment Counselor if you need support transitioning from military to civilian life.
Our goal is to make the compensation and pension process as quick and smooth as possible, so your claim can be resolved promptly.
